The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has fixed Thursday, May 21, 2026 as the official passing-out date for 2025 Batch A Stream II corps members.
This update was shared on Monday through a statement released by the Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, and posted on the scheme’s official X page.
According to the statement, activities leading to the passing-out ceremony will begin on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. These activities include Job Advisory and Counselling (JAC) sessions organised by NYSC and partner agencies, alongside the signing of final clearance by Zonal Inspectors.
NYSC also explained that the event will be low-key, with Certificates of National Service to be distributed to qualified corps members across all Local Government Areas in Nigeria.
The Director-General of NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the outgoing corps members and wished them success as they complete their service year. He also encouraged them to uphold the values of the scheme and remain good representatives of NYSC wherever they go.
This passing-out marks the successful completion of the mandatory one-year national service for members of the 2025 Batch A Stream II.
