SQA Marshal Software Testing Scholarship Program for Graduates and Undergraduates
About the Scholarship Program
SQA Marshal Limited is organizing a 4-week scholarship program for graduates and undergraduates to upskill in quality assurance and software testing.
This program offers hands-on practical training designed to prepare participants for internship opportunities within the tech industry.
There are numerous benefits and opportunities available in this field, but only for those with the right skills. Unfortunately, only a few are truly qualified.
Gaining the skills needed for job readiness often requires a significant financial investment, one that many cannot afford.
That’s why SQA Marshal Limited has introduced this scholarship opportunity, aimed at equipping young Nigerians with the essential skills to begin a career in software testing after school.

What is software testing all about?
Think of it this way.
Your bank has a mobile banking application or at least a website. While a software developer writes codes to create these applications and website, on the other hand, the software tester is the one that ensures that they are working as they should.
Now, there are millions of such applications and websites in several industries, the software tester is responsible for checking that they work properly. So the job is out there for you
How much does a software tester earn in Nigeria?
Depending on the industry,
- A software tester with at least 3 years experience earns between #300,000 – #600,000 monthly.
- A tester with experience above 3 years earns up to #1,000,000 monthly.
- A beginner typically earns between #150,000 – #250,000 monthly.
